On your computer, open Google Maps. Right-click the place or area on the map. This will open a pop-up window. You can find your latitude and longitude in decimal format at the top.

Open your Google Maps app i. Tap and hold the target icon ii. Press and hold the icon/red pin that appears on the map iii. Your coordinates will appear in the Search box at the top NOTE: You may also be able to swipe up or tap the icon/pin window from the bottom.

The Google Maps URL changed from https://maps.google.com to https://www.google.com/maps . This change by Google doesn't look like a significant change at first, but if you look deeper - it is a big change.

Android: Open Google Maps; it will zoom to your approximate location. Press and hold on the screen to drop a pin marker. Click on the dropped pin; latitude and longitude will be displayed below the map.
