Fiat doesn't offer a small pickup in the United States. Ram doesn't either, but in other parts of the world – namely Brazil – you'll find this small rig called the Fiat Strada. It's all-new for 2021, and it already has a litany of factory upgrades available through FCA's Mopar group.

Its compact size also allows it to manoeuvre nicely through heavy traffic and to be parked easily. Although the Strada is a good vehicle, Fiat doesn't hold a strong impression with South African buyers but it is worth considering against its rivals.

The Fiat Strada/Ram 700, produced in Brazil, achieved single star ratings for both its single cab and double cab design. An unstable structure, poor performing side airbags, low whiplash protection and a lack of safety assistance systems were all cited as reasons for the poor performance.

The engines used are the Fiat 1.4-L 16V Fire Flex (85 PS) and the 1.8-L 16-V Ecotec Flex (114 PS).
