The GS3 is a very powerful and complete machine. It can (re)produce coffee and steam for days, those are its main benefits (and not so much 'taste'). It has a few tricks up its sleeve with a saturated grouphead (improves mainly your 2nd/3rd/4th shots and so forth).

One of the best things about La Marzocco espresso machines is that they are built from scratch. In fact, they are handmade, and they are hand-tested. This is why the machines are worth the investment. It's also one of the reasons many people consider the brand's coffee machines to be superior to other brands' machines.

The Two Versions: Mechanical Paddle and Electronic Paddle The Strada MP functions similarly to other La Marzocco Mechanical Paddle models. This model allows you to pre-infuse the coffee puck with lower water pressure before applying full pressure. The Strada EP takes pressure control to an entirely different level.

Water will flow through the grouphead and shut off when it's done. This should take approximately 10 seconds. Move the paddle back to the “off” position, and wait about 5 minute to allow the Linea Micra heat up. Once both the red and blue lights are solid, espresso can be brewed.
